OnConference Unveils Video Playback Feature

By Raju Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor

OnConference recently added a video playback feature to its Web conferencing service, which lets users play a video within Web conferences.

OnConference Web conferencing allows users to show PowerPoint slides and share their applications with their conference call participants. It works in any Web browser on any computer. Users are not required to download any software for other participants.

With onConference Presents!, individuals can upload their PowerPoint slides and show them in seconds.

With this new feature, users can show many new elements, such as customer testimonials, a pre-recorded production demonstration, or product promotional videos to Web conference participants.

Users can play videos of up to 10 videos of 100MB each.

Rather than sending video links separately, The Video Playback feature of OnConference's system allows users to share video directly within a conference. Participants are not required to download any software or special plug-ins; the video playback feature streams easily in any browser and on any computer.

“Several of our customers have been asking us for this feature for some time," said Jerry Everett, president of OnConference. “We are pleased to be able to provide customers with the ability to add a full-motion video clip to their web conferences and webinars, while maintaining a simple and straight forward experience for both the presenters and participants.”

In 2011, TMC’s (News - Alert) Carolyn J Dawson reported that the company introduced Meeting Manager to solve the complications related to foreign travel scheduling. There are various benefits of the Meeting Manager, particularly controlling access numbers and differences in the time zones when a user is attempting to contact a client located abroad.
